“I am the actual epitome of a desperate dirty ‘old man’…groping a young man who is just looking for a friendship and close plutonic [sic] relationship with someone he looks to for help, guidance and spirituality,” reads the email in the image. “You don’t have that desire for me and I shouldn’t have it for you. I forced myself on you.”

Donnie’s lawyer responded telling Billboard magazine in relation to the accusation

“At no time did Pastor McClurkin engage in any form of sexual abuse, assault or sexual coercion of Mr. Corletto,” said McClurkin’s attorney, Greg Lisi. “The claims set forth in the lawsuit grossly mischaracterize their interactions, which occurred over a decade, and some accusations over two decades ago.”

Giuseppe Corletto’s lawsuit claims he allegedly joined Donnie McClurkin’s Perfecting Faith Church in Long Island, New York, in 2003 at age 21, seeking guidance because he was struggling with his sexuality. Corletto says McClurkin, who had allegedly written about “being delivered from homosexuality,” began helping him “pray the gay away” and eventually allegedly hired him as a personal assistant.

According to the complaint, the two allegedly traveled together for church business, and McClurkin allegedly began sexually assaulting Corletto. The first incident reportedly occurred in 2007 in a California hotel room, and similar assaults allegedly continued over the next two years during trips to Atlantic City, Manhattan, and at McClurkin’s Long Island home.

“Throughout this period, plaintiff allegedly attempted to quit on multiple occasions,” the complaint states, “but defendant allegedly denied plaintiff’s requests, coercing him to stay by saying his ‘deliverance’ and ‘purpose’ were tied to defendant.”
